Current Vacancies 

Events Team Leader – 

We are delighted to announce a vacancy for the position of Events Team Leader. The post holder will manage all aspects of operating a weddings business at Newlands Bishop Farm, which helps vulnerable adults who have learning disabilities. In addition to this the post holder will lead on hosting CSR (Corporate and Social Responsibility) days, and operate other events that increases the income of Newlands Bishop Farm and the wider charity. The post holder will also be involved in the marketing and social media for the overall charity, but this is a secondary function which is not time consuming compared to the operations of the weddings business.

This is a full time position to include weekends and evenings where necessary to manager events taking place.

Grounds Maintenance Instructor – 

We are recruiting for a grounds Maintenance Instructor within our team at Community Gardening Services. All our gardening staff are accompanied by Project Workers, who attend our day centres to be trained and mentored in life and work based skills. To work with vulnerable adults you will need to be friendly, compassionate, and patient. If you have these character traits, are reliable, and have experience of landscape gardening, fencing and slabbing, we would be pleased to receive your application.

This position is for 8 hours per day Monday – Friday

Care Support Worker (Weekends) within our Community Support team –

The service operates 24/7 at an Independent Living Scheme, provides 1 to 1 care for clients in our day centres, and assist private clients in the local area (Solihull). Our team are friendly, dedicated, and passionate about providing high quality care for our clients. If you have a similar outlook in caring for vulnerable adults, we would be pleased to receive your application. This includes experience gained in a non-formal care setting such as caring for a relative who has a learning disability, dementia, or mental health problems.

Posts ranging from 16 hours through to 24 hours per week.

Care Support Worker within our team at the Blanning Dementia Day Centre –

The service operates Monday to Friday, working with clients who have memory problems such as dementia. Our team are friendly, dedicated, and passionate about providing high quality care for our clients. If you have a similar outlook in caring for vulnerable adults, we would be pleased to receive your application. This includes experience gained in a non-formal care setting such as caring for a relative who has a learning disability, dementia, or mental health problems. Duties include stimulating activities, helping clients on and off our minibus, escorting when transporting them to and from the centre, assisting with the consumption of food and drink, and elements of personal care.

This post is for 21 hours per week (3 days) Monday to Friday, and these days may vary with notice given on rotas in advance. For more information please click HERE.
