Aims

The aims of this course are to give participants a greater insight and awareness of infection prevention and control and its importance in care practice.

By the end of the course, participants will have gained knowledge in the following areas:
•    Hand Hygiene
•    Environmental Hygiene
•    Immunisation
•    Laundry
•    Indwelling devices
•    Specific organisms/infections
•    Safe handling of waste and pets
