The Solihull Community Support Service has been providing specialist support to people with a mental health problem or learning disability since 1995. Since then it has helped over a thousand people of all ages to deal with the difficult issues that can be part of their condition. We provide care and support for people in their own homes, enabling them to continue to live independently for as long as possible.

Our friendly, skilled and experienced team work in the community.
They call at our service users’ homes or another safe place to provide care, social contact, encouragement, befriending, facilitation and other support, giving the best chance of maintaining independent living. Each individual is properly assessed and our serviced tuned to provide support in the areas that they have defined and can have the most beneficial outcome.
We very much want to maximise the choice that people have over the type of support that they receive and are flexible and innovative in how care is delivered.

Our service operates between 7.30 am and 11 pm every day of the
year. We work as part of a multi-discipline team with health and
social care professionals to provide a regular routine that can be relied upon to deliver specialised support and care.

We never forget that each service user is an individual and no matter how demanding their needs, always treated with dignity and respect.
