Our range of services range from three fully equipped day centres, offering real, practical support and help to families and carers, to support in the home and community across the areas of Solihull and Dudley.
Our Respite Care unit gives a well earned break to carers and their families, is comfortable and welcoming, with seven bedrooms, two of which are en suite, within a welcoming environment.
Our Extra Care Housing Scheme offers independence to adults with learning difficulties in our warden supervised houses in Solihull etc.
The Farm at Newlands Bishop in Solihull offers a stimulating environment to people with learning difficulties, who enjoy a range of activities ranging from IT skills, gardening, woodworking, and working with animals out in the fresh air.
The community garden project at Saxon Way is an exciting programme of help for local residents offered by adults with learning disabilities, which gives the workers a sense of worth and teaches them good life skills, as well as helping pensioners and private customers by tending and tidying gardens.
"The Family Care Trust has its own Training Unit (FCT Training) which is able to provide many courses that are mandatory, both in Care and within industry and other work situations. The training team is able to provide courses that can be "off the peg" or tailored to particular needs. It has a reputation for providing excellent courses which matches mandatory demands with on-the-job needs.
