The Family Care Trust in cooperation with Solihull Community Housing and funded by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, provides care at a housing scheme in the Bentley Heath area of Solihull.

The scheme is operated through the FCT Solihull Community Support Service and assists adults with a learning disability to live as independently as possible, offering choices in what type and how often services are provided. 24 hour support is available from a team of experienced, friendly, well qualified staff.

They are able to help residents to run their day to day lives by providing support with budgeting, menu planning, shopping, health appointments, personal care, college attendance, employment and more.

Residents are able to participate in many activities that are organised on a group basis. These include keep fit, cookery, computer skills and craft sessions. Residents are also helped to attend local community clubs and groups. The scheme has its own Mercedes Traveliner people carrier kindly donated by Hampton Manor Homes and regular trips are made to places
of interest in all parts of the country.
