Care and Support at Home

The Trust is there to lend a helping hand, it believes in positive, practical where needed. Its service is available between 7.30am and 11pm seven days a week, 52 weeks a year.

Carers are there not only to help the elderly and infirm, but also young people with learning difficulties or disabilities. A support service for people over the age of 18 who have significant mental health problems is also available.

The Community Support staff are dedicated to the task of helping people to remain at home and in familiar surroundings. Their support helps clients to maintain  their independence and quality of life.

Our friendly and well motivated staff members are NVQ qualified and police cleared.
Intensive social support at the point of discharge from hospital is available for clients. A hospital discharge service is also offered for people with mental health problems.

The Trust provides additional support and care for people with mental health problems in their own homes to enable them to continue to live independently in the community.

The Trust operates closely with the Mental Health Service of Solihull Social Services Department, Solihull Health Authority, Dudley  Health Authority and Dudley Social Services Department and has good ties with other organisations.

Care
As a service registered with the Regulators Organisation CSCI we aim to achieve and maintain the highest standard in Domiciliary Care.

Support
Many people with a mental health problem need support rather than physical care.  The befriending element of our service to people with mental health problems is particularly appreciated by our service users.

Problems
You define the problem then we help you find the solution.  Be it support or care, if you say what the problem is we will come up with a way of resolving it.  We don't make your needs fit in with what we do, but rather we do what fits in with your needs.
