Home from home Home from home, is how manager Annmarie Yardley, (pictured right) would describe The Colebrook Centre. Staff are there 24 hours a day, including weekends to help with clients who are visiting for respite care. She added: “We also have regular day clients and we believe in offering a rich environment of activity, socialising and generally doing what they want. Their needs are paramount. We even have an organ for people to play.” The garden is a haven of natural peace and quiet and clients can wander in and out at will. Beside the busy lounge and the dining room, the centre also has an Art Room, Games Room and Relaxation Room. There are also bathing and hairdressing facilities for clients. | ![]() | |
