Members of the Friday Drop-In group and Ladies from Dassett Road enjoyed a fabulous day out on Friday 21st November, when they went Christmas shopping to the Merry Hill Centre in Dudley.
Many of the 40+ people that went on the trip had never visited Merry Hill before and everyone said what a wonderful day they had. As well as crossing off a few items from their wish lists, attendees enjoyed the sights, sounds and smells from the different shops and attractions taking place as well as a wonderful lunch in the food court.
Ian Billingham the Family care Trust Befriending Volunteer Coordinator who organised the trip would like to thank everyone who went for supporting the trip and offer a special thank you to Kay Starkey, Senior Team Leader for INTU Merry Hill, for their kind donation of shopping vouchers and to the Merry Hill Security Team who looked after everyone all during the day.
